United Way Campaign Update

The 2022 campaign is underway—won’t you consider a gift today?

When you give to the United Way, you join thousands of others in the community who are serving Kansas Citians in need through more than 700 local nonprofit organizations and 1,000,000 touchpoints!

You have various options for participating:

• Purchase Raffle Tickets to win a basket. Each ticket is $5. Raffle will be drawn today (10/6) and will be announced on Friday (10/7)!

• Jeans Day: Wear jeans on Friday, October 7—just sign up in "special events." There's no minimum donation—you choose what you want to donate.

If you donate using the next three options, you will be automatically entered into a drawing for the 1/1/23 Chiefs vs. Broncos (Section 103, Row 31, Seats 21 & 22)! Don't fumble this opportunity, you have until Friday to cross into the end zone. Sorry - special event contributions do not count for the Chiefs drawing.

• One-time Donation: You can make a one-time donation using your credit or debit card.

• Payroll Deduction Pledge: You can choose to make your deduction via payroll by specifying an amount to be deducted from 24 payrolls beginning January 2023.

• Direct Bill Option: With this option, you decide your total annual contribution and the frequency for being invoiced. You will receive a statement beginning January 2023. If you’d like to request a different billing start date, email the United Way Gift Processing Team at uwgkcgiftprocessing@uwgkc.org.

Remember, any amount, big or small, goes a long way toward providing resources for friends, neighbors and co-workers who may be in need!
