Mark Thompson, Chairman of Country Club Trust Co., was recognized by Ingram’s magazine recently as one of “50 Kansans You Should Know.” The feature, which published in the March 2023 issue, spotlights highly accomplished and “colorful” residents who give the Sunflower State its unique flavor. Could Mark’s wife Amy being “Baby Jay,” the mini version of KU’s “Big Jay” mascot, during college have had anything to do with it? Maybe just a little. Mark’s business and nonprofit activities that have helped shape the direction of Northeastern Kansas and the greater Kansas City region were a major factor in his selection.

It cited Alisha’s career accomplishments, philanthropic work and 2022 selection to the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Centurions Leadership program.
