CCBers to donate blood during our annual blood drive August 4!

Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. That translates to more than 38,000 blood donations needed each day. In Kansas City alone, the Community Blood Center needs 580 daily donors to meet the needs of 65 hospitals in the metro area as well as other parts of eastern Kansas and western Missouri—and it relies solely on volunteer donors to meet that goal.

That’s where you come in! On Thursday, August 4, CCB’s Team Impact will be hosting a Blood Donor Drive at 1 Ward Parkway, Tower 1 Conference Room, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Giving blood is the best gift you can give to another person—and it’s so easy to do. Simply register below for an appointment slot. The donation itself takes just 8-10 minutes. You’ll get a snack and drink afterwards—plus a coupon for a free or discounted pint from a participating brewery or pub.
