Let’s finish the last few months of 2024 strong! If you have unused VTO hours, please consider joining us for one of the following volunteer opportunities.

KCK YMCA Food Pantry | Friday, September 27 | 9 am – noon | KCKCC Tech Building - 6565 State Ave, Kansas City KS 66102
The KCK mobile food pantry is held on the fourth Friday of every month. This is a very fast-paced and high-intensity event. Typical volunteer activities include the following:
Unloading the truck
Breaking down pallets
Culling and bagging products
Handing out food to the families that are in the line
Clean up
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so volunteering can begin promptly at 9:00 am. Everyone will just meet in the large parking lot in front of the building where the semi-truck will be unloading pallets of food. Please wear close-toed shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty.
G.I.F.T. of Color Gala Setup | Friday, September 27, 8 am-2 pm | The Lex in Municipal Auditorium, 301 W. 13th Street, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 6410
