Oh, to be a Fly on the Wall!

CCB Facilities team adds time capsule to construction project.

During some recent construction at 1 Ward Parkway, the Facilities team placed a time capsule in the wall so that whoever finds it will see what it was like “back in 2023.”

The capsule included Country Club Bank history, swag, information about the bank and CCB culture as well as Thompson family and Kansas City history. Before-and-after photos of the 1 Ward Parkway, including floor plans for the renovation were also placed in the capsule. Of course, no time capsule for this period of our history would ever be complete without mementos from the COVID-19 pandemic—a time we hope we’ll never relive!

Of course, Facilities team members signed the tube before putting it into the wall.
