Next Chapter: Joy Harris Retires Nov. 30

We wish you well, Joy, and thank you for your years of service.

As Joy reflects on her more than 16 years at Country Club Bank, she shared what led her to banking as a career:

When my youngest child turned 2, my husband suggested I go back to work. I wasn’t enthused with the idea, so he asked me to apply at three places. If none of them responded, I could stay home. I applied for three positions, all on the same day. Two of them called to offer me the job before I got home. The next week I started work at Boatmen’s Bank. I started at CCB on May 7, 2007.

Joy would like to say thank you to her associates at CCB. "I have loved working at CCB, and I am so thankful for the guidance and help I've been given, the camaraderie, the laughter and the wonderful friendships. I will miss you, and I wish you all the best."

As for the future, Joy isn't looking past the holidays: "There are several paths I could take, so I’m going to take some time off to enjoy the holidays and decide next year."
