Inaugural Office Chair Games Benefit FosterAdopt Connect

Team CCB rolled into action for FosterAdopt Connect's inaugural Office Chair Games fundraiser on June 16. As a sponsor of this first-ever event, Country Club Bank was proud to be part of a winning cause.

FosterAdopt Connect partners with foster and adoptive families to help them succeed as they navigate the challenges of the child welfare system.

Despite falling short of victory in the actual competition, CCB was first in team spirit when competing against teams from all over the KC metro. Kudos to Margeaux Seymour (Client Associate, Trust, 1WP), Mary Taylor (Payroll Specialist, 1WP), Amanda Schmalz (Graphic Designer, 1WP), Hallie Rogers (Marketing Project Manager, 1WP), Christa Richardon (Financial Center Manager, Business Development Specialist, Shawnee and Village West) and Becca Raney (Relationship Banker, Leavenworth South).

Events included:

• Chair rowing, in which teams moved around a fixed point and then back to the finish line.

• A marathon that featured two team members giving it their all in a test of endurance and stamina.

• The short relay was a quick test of speed—and the office chair was the baton!

• Chair curling, in which participants gave their office chairs a push to see how close it get to its goal.

The BIG winner of the day was FosterAdopt Connect and those they serve: The Office Chair Games raised $51,000. Thank you, Team CCB!
