A father-son partnership at Country Club Bank is helping clients achieve their financial goals, with trusted expertise and dedication.
Meet the dynamic father-son duo making an impact in financial advisory: Kevin Hennessy (left), Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor, and his son, Nick Hennessy (right), Investment Officer. Both are part of Country Club Bank’s Wealth Solutions division, working to guide clients toward their long-term financial goals.
Kevin Hennessy started his banking career in 1986 when he moved his young family to Kansas City to work at UMB. He joined Country Club Bank in 2006, seeking the right fit to expand his career as a financial advisor. Most banks keep their financial advisors on a “tight rein,” he said, noting that CCB has given him the freedom to work on his own and the latitude to grow his base of knowledge and skills.
Most recently, CCB agreed to hire Nick. “It is an uncommon turn of events,” Kevin said, “one that I hadn’t thought at all likely, to be able to work with my son.”
For Nick, the path to Country Club Bank was made more enticing by the opportunity to learn from a seasoned professional like his dad. As an investment officer, he helps clients with investments, retirement planning, and life insurance, while benefiting from his father's more than 30 years of expertise. He’s grateful for Country Club Bank’s support in his career development, including the training and credentials needed to excel in financial services.
Both Kevin and Nick believe in hard work, kindness and staying open to opportunities as keys to advancing within Country Club Bank.
