Consumer Resource Specialist

What do you do at Country Club Bank?
I am a Consumer Resource Specialist, working with a great team to provide support and guidance to all our bankers, tellers, managers and partners. We also collaborate regularly on process improvement to enhance the day-to-day efforts of our fellow associates.
How did you get into banking?
I started in customer service for a large chain grocery store—balancing drawers, selling money orders, cashing checks and ultimately providing a Wow! experience to every customer I helped. We had an in-store bank located within our walls, which interested me. I applied when a position came open, got the job and have been in banking ever since. I am here on purpose, with a purpose!
What drew you to CCB?
I had been working in banking for a while when a friend reached out, telling me how Country Club Bank was a great family-owned, community bank, with opportunities for advancement. I wanted to be part of that!
How have you been able to advance your career at CCB?
When I started at CCB, I was a Customer Service Manager at our Mission Hills location. Moving into a relationship banker role opened the door for new challenges and goals that provide opportunities. The role has also helped me grow and to intentionally give our clients the very best experiences each day!
Reaching out and working side by side with our bank partners gives me an opportunity to become familiar with products and services for developing customer relationships within our bank. With several years of experience here at CCB, I am now in a position to provide support and guidance to all of our bankers, tellers, managers and partners—and to help in their success.
What advice would you give other Country Club Bank associates about advancing within the bank?
Start your day with a smile and expect the very best. Work hard every day building your skills and learning. Ask questions. Enjoy your journey at CCB. As you grow, your skills will improve, and that will lead to advancement. Be the exception!
