Describe your role at Country Club Bank.

I oversee the Consumer Lending and Private Banking Mortgage group as well as the Small Business Banking Group.

How did you get into banking?

I began my career with a local mortgage company. At the time, I was working in another industry, and my wife and I wanted to get pre-qualified for our first home loan.  My father knew some people at Charles F. Curry, and I set up an appointment.  During the conversation, they mentioned they were looking to add someone to develop as a loan officer.  The timing was right; I was at a crossroads in my young career. Soon after that meeting, I began my career with Charles F. Curry.

What drew you to CCB?

I joined in 2009. The financial industry was in flux, to say the least. The reputation and stability of Country Club Bank was the primary reason I reached out to see if there was an opportunity to join such a talented group of people.

How have you been able to advance your career at CCB?

In any strong company, focusing on collaborative teamwork and doing your job well—along with some patience—will help anyone advance.

What advice do you have for other Country Club Bank associates about advancing within the bank?

Every day, there is more to learn, and if you seek to learn, your skills will continue to improve—and that will lead to advancement.
