The bank moved up on a local Family-Owned Businesses List, and the podcast received national recognition.

Country Club Bank ranked seven spots higher on the Kansas City Business Journal’s 2022 Family-Owned Businesses List, which was published on October 7. This year, the bank ranked No. 17, up from No. 24 in 2021.
The list was based on 2021 annual revenue and restricted to private companies that have at least two non-spousal owners or businesses that have been owned by the same family or families for two or more generations.

The American Banking Association (ABA) recently awarded the “Banking on KC” an Honorable Mention in the Community and Economic Development category of its annual Community Commitment Awards. These awards spotlight the community outreach programs of banks throughout the country.
Each episode of the weekly podcast features a local changemaker—a business owner, innovator, civic or nonprofit leader, or elected official—and tells the story of how they are raising Kansas City’s profile locally and even nationally in many cases. During its 150-episode run, the podcast has become a conduit that connects members of the community with each other and with community programs and initiatives.
