CCB CEO Among Top 250 Most Powerful KC Business Leaders

Ingram’s magazine names Paul Thompson to annual Top 250 list.

Congratulations to Paul Thompson, Chairman and CEO, for being recognized in the 2022 Ingram’s 250 list of most powerful business leaders in the Kansas City area.

During his 30-year banking career, Paul has served in various industry leadership roles, including as a Class A director on the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s board of directors and chairman of the Missouri Bankers Association. Paul has also been active in the American Bankers Association, serving on the organization’s accounting committee, community bankers council, membership committee, and government relations council administrative committee.

Paul says the foundation for his philosophy to leading a successful community bank like Country Club Bank is rooted in his father Byron’s Thompson’s approach: “He was passionate, engaged, energetic, entrepreneurial, tough-minded, but at the same time he cared greatly about the people in our organization and took the time to know them personally.”
