CCB Associates Serve Up a Brighter Future for Cardiovascular Illnesses

Country Club Bank recently sponsored the fifth annual Maxwell T. Ward Foundation Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament, the “XamSlam."

Several CCB associates pulled together the "Incredible Returns" team and participated in the tournament honoring Max Ward on Saturday, July 30, at Shawnee Mission Beach Volleyball.

Ward died in his sleep at the age of 28 due to a heart abnormality. At 6’6”, Ward loved to play volleyball, so the annual tournament was created in his name to help Kansas City area children who suffer from cardiovascular disease get the medical attention they need.
