Shawnee Chamber Golf Tournament | June 3

Northwest Regional President Jay Kimbrough (pictured left) participated in the 45th annual Shawnee Chamber of Commerce Golf tournament on June 3rd at Canyon Farms Golf Club.




Olathe Chamber Coffee | June 6

The Olathe 151st Financial Center hosted an Olathe Chamber of Commerce Coffee on June 6. Community members and business owners mingled and enjoyed a morning of networking. Dan Teahan is pictured.




Heroes for Hospice 5k Race | June 8

Jeff Whelan, McKinley Williams and Jerod Kemper volunteered at the 10th Annual Heroes for Hospice 5K Run/Walk, which raised $22,000 for Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care and Midland Care Connection.




Blood Drive | June 11

At the Country Club Bank Blood Drive on June 11, 29 donors gave blood at 1 Ward Parkway, including a few of our interns! Each donation can potentially save three lives.

 

Among those participating were Joe Close, PJ Thompson, Lucy Foley, Lydia Verbrugge, Molly McCune, Sarah Capps Hamburg, Heather Padelli, Beka Demaranville, Kaitlyn Galietti, Abbi Galieti-Vollmer and Ben Pepper.




Operation Breakthrough Big Dreams - Bright Futures Fundraiser | June 13

Operation Breakthrough raised more than $1 million at its 26th annual fundraiser on June 13. The funds are used for the care and education of children enrolled in Operation Breakthrough's programs. Collin and Cassidy Thompson attended.




Chiefs Super Bowl Ring Ceremony | June 13

John Gagnon from HR attended the recent Chiefs Ring Ceremony, which took place at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. He is a part of the media relations team for the Chiefs.




Harrisonville Customer Appreciation Day | June 14

It was a lovely day out in Harrisonville for the Customer Appreciation event on June 14. About 30 bank customers joined Harrisonville associates for a quick picnic lunch and ice cream on the front lawn. Associates got a chance to connect with the customers—and Joe Close and Kimberly Thornton also stopped by.




High Aspirations Juneteenth Event | June 15

Joe O’Flaherty, Joe Mendoza and Collin Thompson attended the High Aspirations Juneteenth event. They spoke with attendees about banking services and opening student accounts. High Aspirations is an organization dedicated to providing support, positive experiences, skill building and more to young African American males ages 8 to 18.




Lee's Summit Chamber Before Hours| June 25

The Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce held a Before Hours Networking event at the Lee’s Summit - Woods Chapel location. Members mingled over coffee and delicious treats. Brian Hoban is pictured.




Belton Financial Center Reopening | June 28-29

The newly remodeled Belton Financial Center recently reopened. They celebrated by hosting a two-day "stop-and-go" event that offered cookies, donuts, coffee and other refreshments to customers and community members.
