Photo highlights of Team CCB in the local community!
Presenting a Check to CHWC
Amy Wilcox, Commercial Lending Officer, presented Community Housing of Wyandotte County, Inc. (CHWC), with a $5,000 check on behalf of Country Club Bank. We are proud to partner with them in their mission to help build stronger neighborhoods in Kansas City, creating more opportunities for everyone to succeed.

Pawsperity, August 10
Pawsperity is a 501c3 nonprofit in Kansas City devoted to helping impoverished families become self-reliant through job training in the high-demand, high-pay trade of pet grooming.
Pawsperity’s education-based approach financially empowers single parents in poverty by equipping them with credentials in a competitive market, and it ensures they focus on improving their family’s future as a whole through parenting and budgeting classes, mental health support, life skills courses, and other needed medical services coordinated with many local organizations.
Team CCB packed backpacks, including notes of encouragement they wrote for students; toured the facility; and learned more about Pawsperity's mission.
21st Annual Head for the Cure 5k, August 27
Country Club Bank recently sponsored the pancake breakfast for the 21st Annual Head for the Cure 5K. The pancake bar was so good even Big Jay couldn't resist!
The event raises funds, awareness and hope for the Kansas City brain tumor community. Funds raised through the event locally benefit University of Kansas Cancer Center, Solace House and the Children's Brain Tumor Project as well as national brain cancer programs, education and initiatives.
There was an amazing turnout, and CCB associates Daniel Zinser and Dallas Shepherd ran the race.
The Giving Grove, August 30
Giving Grove's orchards has become a gathering place for neighbors to meet neighbors, allowing the community to grow alongside the trees and brambles. The Giving Grove supports neighborhood volunteers in planting and caring for fruit trees, nut trees and berry brambles that improve the urban environment, increase tree canopy and provide a sustainable source of free, organically-grown food for neighborhoods facing high rates of food insecurity.
Happy Bottoms, September 5
Team CCB sorted and packaged diapers to be distributed to families in need.
