Heroes for Hospice Run | June 7

VTO | Rose Brooks | June 12
Volunteers from CCB organized and sorted clothing and pantry items for Rose Brooks Center, whose mission is to break the cycle of domestic violence and provide services to families in need. Established in 1978, Rose Brooks has provided 49 years of safety to more than 14,000 individuals and pets in our community.
Thank you to volunteers Skylar Britt, Hallie Mannon, Karen Byers Jones, Sara Koch, and Victoria Kukharets.
Harrisonville Customer Appreciation Event | June 13
Harrisonville customers enjoyed a nice day out on the lawn during Harrisonville Customer Appreciation Day. Our very own Tim Moore, courier and chef extraordinaire, provided an extra special touch by grilling up brats, burgers and hotdogs!
High Aspirations Juneteenth Celebration | June 14
Joe Mendoza, Henry Santos and Mark Hood represented Country Club Bank at High Aspirations’ Juneteenth Celebration. A notable moment from the celebration was when Mark, a relationship banker, took a moment to share a freestyle rap!
High Aspirations is a mentoring program for young African American men in the Kansas City area. The program provides support in four key areas: social, academic, emotional and spiritual. Program participants learn about leadership and finance, volunteer together, prepare for college and more.
VTO | Synergy Services| June 24
CCB volunteers spent the morning of June 24 with Synergy Services. The organization's mission is to create a community free of family violence. Their programs provide assistance to individuals and families in need of safety and care.
Our volunteers helped sort pantry items and did some light landscaping work at their campus. Volunteers included Claire Stark, Nathan Yuth, Krista Moore, Kaitlyn Galietti, Beth Miller, Deidra Tosatto and Della Wilkerson.
VTO | Retail Managers Visit Hillcrest Transitional Housing | June 25
Our Financial Center Managers had the opportunity to volunteer at Hillcrest Transitional Housing alongside FNBO’s Kansas branch managers. Together, they sorted clothing items for the thrift stores Hillcrest operates.
The funds generated by the two Hillcrest thrift stores fund 40% of their transitional housing programs, which help homeless families become self-supportive.
Summer Pop Ups | June 25-27
There’s nothing like ice cream on a hot day! Ice cream trucks visited our Financial Centers in late June to offer sweet treats to associates.
