CCB associates started off the New Year helping in the community.
VTO | Pro Deo Youth Center | January 15
CCB volunteers assisted the students at the Pro Deo Youth Center with a DIY candle- making activity. Each student chose from various scents and colors to craft a candle they could take home.
Pro Deo Youth Center offers a safe, fun and empowering environment for teens in the community. With free tutoring, arts and crafts, STEM activities and other offerings, Pro Deo provides the opportunity for positive social connection and healthy emotional development.
Thank you to Tarryn O’Dell, Ashlyn Smith, Tara Wehri, Olivia Nuhn, Alissa Taylor and Skylar Britt for using your VTO time to assist!
Lee’s Summit Before Hours | January 28 | Coldwater

Olivia Nuhn (right) was spotted volunteering at Coldwater as a part of the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce Before Hours volunteering event.
Along with other volunteers, they organized the Coldwater Clothes Closet. The closet offers free clothing assistance to residents facing hardship in the Lee’s Summit area.
