Are You Hungry to Serve?

Consider volunteering to feed others through our upcoming Harvester’s VTO opportunity!

During this season of giving, won’t you consider offering up some of your time to Harvesters to help feed your neighbors?

Team Impact is organizing two opportunities:

1. Tuesday, November 15, 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.

2. Tuesday, November 29, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

We need 15 volunteers per session to sort and repack food, including sorting and boxing nonperishable food, packing fresh produce, sorting and boxing bread, repacking ready-to-eat food and bulk products and packing BackSnacks.

A regional food bank, Harvesters feeds more than a quarter of a million people in northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri every month. In 2022 alone, Harvesters distributed 61.3 million meals to families, and its 34 school pantries reached nearly 6,000 households with a million pounds of food. None of this could be possible without a strong network of volunteers.

Both volunteer events will take place at Harvesters’ Kansas City facility, located at 3801 Topping Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64129.
