Eager to enjoy the spring weather? Get outside and help the community through one of our many VTO opportunities in April. Many of them involve working outdoors!
YMCA Mobile Food Pantry | April 25 | 9 am| KCKCC Tech Building 6565 State Avenue, Kansas City KS 66102
We are looking for 15 volunteers to help with the YMCA Mobile Food Pantry. This event is held on the fourth Friday of every month.
It is a very fast-paced and high-intensity event. Typical volunteer activities include the following:
Unloading the truck
Breaking down pallets
Culling and bagging products
Handing out food to families
Clean up
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early, so volunteering can begin promptly at 9 am. Everyone will meet in the large parking lot in front of the building where the semi-truck will be unloading pallets of food.
Please wear closed-toed shoes, your CCB volunteer shirt and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. If you don’t have a volunteer shirt, email Marketing at marketing@countryclubbank.com with your size (unisex), and they will interoffice one to you.
